Welcome to the MMPP Web Maps site.
The MMPP Web Maps viewer is based on the Google Maps API, overlaid by map layers derived from MASC data collected from Manitoba producers.
To load a layer onto the map, click its radio button in the Layers list (at top-right). Depending on your connection speed, layers may take a few moments to download (unfortunately, there's currently no way to indicate a layer's download progress). Layers are uniformly colour-coded (red = lowest, green = highest), with their classifications shown in the map Legend (at lower-right).
Once a layer is loaded, you can click on a layer's individual features (ie. a municipality) to see regional results in a pop-up balloon. (Note: this feature won't always work after you've zoomed in/out on the map).
The Google Maps interface works much like you'd expect. To change the background imagery, click one of the Map/Satellite/Hybrid/Terrain buttons. To re-center the map, click the Recenter button (at top-left). To pan around, click the movement arrow buttons, or click-and-hold on the map to drag it around. To zoom in/out, use the Zoom slider (at left), or scroll your mouse wheel while the mouse pointer is above the map.
New map layers will be added on an ongoing basis. Check back soon!
