AgriInsurance Causes of Loss
The natural perils listed do not cover all the yield robbers that occur, only those that reduced insured yields below coverage. This is dependent on crops insured, selected coverage levels, and price options selected. Perils that do not place an insured in a claim position are not tracked.Producer Confidentiality Maintained
To maintain the confidentiality of producers, the data presented here is aggregated, and must be a compilation of data from at least three producers and a minimum of 500 acres. Results with data sets smaller than this are shown as 'Below Minimum Tolerance'.Caution
Management and environmental influences have not been standardized in the reported values, so please exercise caution with interpreting the results, particularly when there is limited acreage or years of information. Data is most credible when it is obtained from a large acreage over many years for similar crops.
