2011 Manitoba AgriRecovery Program
Manitoba farmers have experienced significant setbacks in 2011 due to excess moisture and flooding. The 2011 Manitoba AgriRecovery Program will mitigate the impacts of this disaster by providing financial assistance to farmers for the restoration and maintenance of their operations through 2011, and for the rehabilitation of their farms in time for the 2012 crop year.

- The 2011 Manitoba Forage Restoration Assistance Program will assist Manitoba forage producers to restore established tame forage and forage seed damaged by excess moisture in 2011.

2011 Manitoba Greenfeed Assistance Program
- Program Description
The purpose of the program is to help Manitoba producers affected by extended periods of excess moisture in 2011. The financial assistance will help them to mitigate the impacts of the disaster on livestock and cropland. Growing greenfeed provides an opportunity for feed production, increasing feed sources for Manitoba livestock producers, as well as utilizing soil moisture and providing soil cover to decrease risk of soil erosion. - Program Description

2011 Manitoba Transportation Assistance Program
- The purpose of this Program is to assist Manitoba livestock producers who are experiencing extraordinary transportation costs due to forage shortages caused by extreme moisture conditions. Program payments will be made based on a calculated need for assistance to transport feed to livestock or livestock to feed for the distance greater than normally experienced due to forage shortages caused by excess moisture.

2011 Manitoba Forage Shortfall Assistance Program
- Program Description
The purpose of this Program is to assist Manitoba livestock producers who are experiencing extraordinary costs due to forage shortage caused by flooding or excess moisture conditions in 2011 in maintaining the feed requirement for their livestock herds. The Program will provide assistance to producers with shortfalls in the forage production required to maintain their livestock over the 2011/12 pasture and winter periods. The assistance will consider the impact of flooding and excess moisture on both grazing and harvested acres. - Terms and Conditions
