January 1st New Years Day
January 2nd All MASC offices are closed
January 17th - 19th Ag Days - Keystone Centre - Brandon, Manitoba
 
February
February 20th Louis Riel Day, all MASC offices are closed
 
March
March 11th - 17th Canadian Agricultural Safety Week
March 31st Last day to pay outstanding insurance accounts

Last day to apply for or cancel an AgriInsurance contract

Last day to change crop selections, coverage levels and native hay livestock numbers

Last day to file claims from prior crop year, except for Forage Establishment Insurance (FEI) claims for spring seeding from prior crop year. The deadline to file FEI claims is June 25th

Last day to apply for or cancel the Continuous Hail Insurance Option (CHIO)

Last day to apply or cancel Vegetable Acreage Loss Insurance
 
April
April 6th Good Friday, all MASC offices closed
April 9th Easter Monday, all MASC offices closed
 
May
May 15th Last day to file an Overwinter Bee Mortality Insurance claim (without late fees)
May 21st Victoria Day, all MASC offices are closed
May 31st

Last day to file an Overwinter Bee Mortality Insurance claim (with late fees)

Last day to file your Declaration of Overwinter Colonies Mortality Report for Overwinter Bee Mortality Insurance

 
June
June 22nd
Last day to file Excess Moisture Insurance (EMI) claims without a late fee
June 25th Last day to file Forage Establishment Insurance (FEI) claims for crops seeded in prior crop year without a late fee
June 30th

Last day to file Seeded Acreage Reports (SAR) without late fees

Last day Excess Moisture Insurance claims will be accepted (subject to the June 22nd deadline late fee)

Last day Forage Establishment claims for crops seeded in prior crop year will be accepted (subject to the June 25th deadline late fee)

Last day to declare the number of livestock to be pastured under Pasture Insurance

 
July
July 1st Canada Day
July 2nd All MASC offices are closed
July 31st Last day for producers who seeded greenfeed (or vegetables under the Vegetable Acreage Loss program) during the extended coverage period to file a supplementary Seeded Acreage Report (SAR)
 
August
August 6th Civic Holiday, all MASC offices are closed
August 15th Last day to declare carry over production from the previous year

Last day to revise or correct Harvested Production Reports (HPR) from prior crop year
August 31st Last day to apply for or cancel an Overwinter Bee Mortality Insurance contract
 
September
September 3rd Labour Day, all MASC offices are closed
September 30th Last day to file Native Hay, Tame Hay or Forage Restoration claims without late fees
 
October

October 1st

First day interest charges begin on outstanding insurance accounts

October 8th Thanksgiving Day, all MASC offices are closed
October 21st Hail Insurance coverage ends
October 31st

Interest is added to all outstanding insurance accounts if payment is not received by this date

 
November
November 11th Remembrance Day
November 12th All MASC offices are closed
November 15th Final day all overwinter colonies must be placed in winter storage for Overwinter Bee Mortality Insurance
November 30th

Last day to file Harvested Production Reports without a late fee

Last day to declare and confirm the number of colonies placed in winter storage with a Declaration of Overwinter Colonies Report

Last day to file post-harvest claims without a late fee

 
December
December 25th Christmas Day
December 26th Boxing Day, all MASC offices are closed
Important Note: These calendars provide general program information only, and are not part of the agreement between the insured and MASC. If there is a discrepancy between MASC Contracts and these calendars, the terms and conditions in the MASC contract shall prevail.
